Story:
I was a hopeless alcoholic for most of my life in and out of jail, rehabs and hospitals. I always believed in God but had no relationship. My life was as dark as it had ever been and I myself believed I was on my way out. I wound up in Flint Michigan at the Salvation Army ARC. It was there that I started to seek and find Jesus. For the first time I got a sponsor and went through the 12 steps of AA for me this was a gateway to an intimate and personal relationship with my Savior! My life has been completely transformed and blessed beyond measure. The trick was I finally let him in and realized he would make the changes not me all I had to do was show up and he did the heavy lifting. I've been through many trials during this 3 years but through each one I have come out stronger and closer to God not the bottle! I am a sinner saved by grace, forgiven and redeemed and now I can't give enough back. I joined the Salvation Army and became a soldier. I now sponsor several men in the ARC as well as teach two classes there. k-love has gotten me through many hard times. I can't count how many times I've cried and fell to my knees in worship when that song I needed to hear spoke to me. GOD Bess You and Thank YOU!
