Story:
In 2008, my husband and I lost everything. The economy was horrible and we had been in trouble all year and some of the year before. My husband lost his job, then in 2008, I lost mine. (I was raised in a Christian home and knew Jesus. I was originally saved when I was 14. However, I did forget how to live for God.) Things were so bad that I would think of ways to end my life. I was at the bottom. There was no further way down. While my husband was away from the house, I got down on my knees, then on the floor and I cried to God. I shouted to Him and prayed and told Him that He was right, I (we) couldn't do it without Him. He took me to my lowest point in order to bring me back up. I began to pray everyday to Him and thank Him for our blessings. I traveled to other states looking for jobs and stayed with family and friends. My husband packed everything up that we had left and lived out of the car while lookinig for work. Finally, I found a part time job that has been wonderful. Thanks be to God, we are full time, we own another home, vehicles, and they are all gifts from God. I give all glory and honor to Him and I thank Him every day for everything. God is good all the time. Amen.
