For more than 4 years, my husband and I battled infertility and waited to adopt a baby. It was a significant challenge to my faith, for I felt God had told us he would place a baby in my arms by Dec. 31, 2012. Yet we were not being selected to adopt any of the babies in our agency. The music here on K-Love was a real comfort to me all of those many days and nights in which I cried, reminding me that God still loved me in spite of the hard times. Then, on June 4, 2012, we learned we were awarded an adoption grant. Even though there was no sign of a baby yet, I felt God telling me that it would only be a week or so more. Then, suddenly, about 10 days later, we received a call from our social worker that we had a beautiful new baby girl! She was born on June 4, the same day we were given our grant! It is as if God was saying, "THIS is how I do business!" He not only answered our prayer, but He blessed us financially as well. Today as I hold our beautiful baby, I am still amazed by what God has done in our lives. Thank you, K-Love, for all of the encouraging music that saw me through one of the darkest periods of my life. And our daughter is one of your youngest listeners!
