June 24th 2010 Adaira Lynn came into this world. She had a condition called Hypo-plastic left heart. We said so many prayers for her while I carried her knowing of her condition. We prayed that God would cause her to be a good weight at birth, she was 6lb 15oz! We prayed that she would have good color. She was the pinkest heart baby the NICU had seen! We prayed for God to heal her heart. No prayer goes unanswered and God did indeed answer all of our prayers only in a way we never could have expected. On June 30, 2010 Adaira had the first of what would be 3 surgeries. At 5:35 that evening I heard the words no mother should ever have to hear. "I am sorry, Adaira just didn't make it" The next day as we made the 4 hour drive home with our sweet girl's tiny body I was so thankful for K-love!! I turned the radio on just outside of Denver and found K-love without even looking. We drove on toward Wyoming and I lost one signal but picked up another and another until we were home and I had K-love there with me the whole time. Every song was just for me that day. My heart will never be whole here on earth, but I know on the days it hurts I can turn to K-love and God will speak to me! Adaira's heart is completely healed now!
