Story:
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for caring for teachers and encouraging listeners to give a certificate of appreciation to their child's teacher. I am an intervention specialist ( I teach special needs multi-handicapped children). How nice it is to know that we as teachers are appreciated! We do our jobs because we love them...not because the pay checks are great or we have the promise of a big bonus at the end of the year. Sometimes people don't understand what all goes into preparing for a new school year. We don't just show up and do the same things day after day. Our jobs required a lot of work, many after school hours of planning & preparing. I don't get many thank yous for my job so it was just really nice to know klove appreciates teachers! Thank You!
