Story:
My twin 6 year old daughters listen to K-Love all the time while driving them to and from school and as we run errands all over town. As a mother I get great joy in my spirit when I look through the rear view mirror and hear them singing songs of worship. I listen to the lyrics of songs of our modern day world and I am so glad that my kids don't know the lyrics. They are 6 and innocent and pure and I am encouraged they have developed a love for Christian music. They also love your stories. For their age they are quite the conversation starters and recently they heard the story of the woman who lost her wedding ring in the garbage and a garbage man went through tons of bags until he found it because it was for love. The girls looked at each other and said, "Wow, he did that for love, because he knew it was something very special since her husband gave it to her on their wedding day." We talked that afternoon in the car about why my wedding ring was a special reminder that my husband gave me to love me for better or worse. One of my daughters said, "Yeah and he promised to protect you." I can't plan for moments like this but I am so grateful for the inspiration your station provides. Thank you for your music, your encouraging stories- My kids love it!
