I have no doubt that God chooses His time to direct your path on His own terms, and here's how I know. When I was a sophomore in college, I got into a lot of bad habits: smoking, drinking, pornography, and I started to drift from God and church. One night, I was at a party, and when outside, was approached by a man with a gun, demanding the keys to my truck. Luckily, I did not have my keys, and I told him so, which was enough for him to leave me alone unharmed. That moment made me realize how much I needed Him and his protection, and how bad I have become. I knew I needed to find God again, so I started to go to church again, I quit all of my bad habits, and really took God and His work seriously. I then met the woman who I am now engaged to, and she helps me every day remember that God loves me and provides for me. I know that if I had still been into those bad habits, Hannah would have never given me the time of day. So, as odd as it seems, I thank God for that man with the gun. Now I only hope and pray that he has found salvation and help in the Lord, and that he is well. God is so good!
