As I sit here and listen to my two children play with their friends, I find myself so grateful to God. It was not quite three years ago that we were in a very different situation, addicted to Meth and homeless, yet again. I cried out to the Lord, and He delivered us-myself and my children first, then my husband nine months later. He found us broken, bruised and bleeding on the ground, and since has begun to heal our wounds and teach us to become strong and powerful Children of God. He has given us a new life and opened doors that we never thought were possible. He has opened the floodgates, and has poured out blessings of deliverance, spiritual and emotional healing, stability, ability, education, and has shown us His plan for our lives. While living in a women and children's shelter in Oklahoma, He spoke kind words of encouragement over my children and I, and breathed life into our dry bones. Jeramiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future." Even tired, strung out, hopeless me. That's how much He loves us. And His love has changed our life forever.
