Learn about Operation Christmas Child »
A simple shoe box filled with some school supplies, small items of clothing and a few toys can change the life of a child. But the shoe boxes doesn't just offer physical items, the gifts also present an opportunity to learn about the Gospel. Many children accept Jesus when they accept their box.
This December, you have the opportunity to join Operation Christmas Child to deliver shoe boxes to the Dominican Republic, including their 100 millionth box delivered as an organization.
From November 1-9, sign in or create a free account and on the form on the right, tell us why you'd like to go on this trip to deliver shoe boxes full of supplies to the Dominican Republic. Listen throughout the week of November 5th, and if we read your story on the air, you'll qualify for the grand prize. Note: must have valid US Passport for travel. Minimum age to qualify is 10 years old. Minors must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
The grand prize winner will join K-LOVE's Amanda Carroll and Operation Christmas Child to distribute shoeboxes (including the 100 millionth box) to children in need in the Dominican Republic from December 4-7, 2012. The trip includes roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, ground transportation and meals.
K-LOVE Radio is listener-supported. Thanks to our promotional partners, we never use the financial support of our listeners to pay for any prizes given away on K-LOVE! This time, we are grateful to Operation Christmas Child.
