Joel Reagan spoke with Kristin de Koning, Crisis Counselor with the Nebraska Strong Recovery Project. This statewide initiative is funded by federal and state sources and help Nebraskans dealing mental, emotional and physical issues due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The effort was first funded when the Omaha area experienced catastrophic flooding. Ms. de Koning outlined the services the Project provides, the need in the state for these services and the impact made.
