Who's Driving?

Who's driving?

I was brave recently, and asked a friend if they had a relationship with God.   That person said they picture Jesus sitting next to them in their car.  That's good.   I actually like to think of Him driving my car.

I heard Bishop TD Jakes say once, "Wonder how much peace we had in our own lives if we stopped setting our own goals and said, it's doing exactly what it's suppsed to do.

If it's working, it's working because it's supposed to.  If it's not working, it's not supposed to.  It's doing exactly what it's supposed to do."

Your time is too precious to spend on something that is not your passion, and is not your purpose.

Whether it's a relationship with a friend, a job, or a dream.  If it's working, it's because it's supposed to.  If it's not working it's not supposed to.

Every Day Acts of Bravery

If you've ever lost someone close to you it's never easy. You morn but eventually life has to continue, you face a "new normal."

A good friend's father passed away last week from cancer, she lost her mother a few years ago to cancer too. She is single and without parents. She is back to work today!

It's like an act of bravery!

It's rare you get the chance to witness one, but when you do it's so encouraging to see. When someone is picking up the pieces two things happen:

You get perspective on how good you have it, or you take note and remember how well she handled it in case this ever happens to you.

What encouraged me most was that the first ting she said today was, "God is Good."

What is something someone said or done that has comforted you in a time of loss? Share with me here or on my Facebook Page.
