"I love life"

"Your greatest limitation is God's greatest opportunity.” -Steven Furtick (Elevation Church)

If you've ever felt ruined, because of your past, or limitations, here's someone that's proving that doubt, wrong!

Aimee Copeland, 24, is the young woman from Georgia who got that flesh eating bacteria and lost her hands, and legs.

You might have seen her yesterday on Katie Couric’s new show yesterday.

Katie asked her:  "was there ever a point that you said, I can't do this, I'd rather die?"

She flat out said, "No! That was never an option to me.  I love life.  It's a beautiful thing, it's something I never take for granted anymore..."

Lift Me Up

You never forget where you were when you first heard about the attacks 11 years ago.  There are lots of pictures and tweets, and status updates about reliving that moment going on today.  If you're not careful, it can get you down.

I heard the Song "Lift Me Up" from The Afters in a new light with this feeling.  The lyrics really describes how you might feel on a day like today.

You know my heart is heavy
And the hurt is deep
But when I feel like giving up
You're reminding me
That we all fall down sometimes
But when I hit the ground
You lift me up when I am weak
Your arms wrap around me

Don't forget the attacks.  Also, don't forget how we are rising above.  I like how The President handled it today when he spoke at a service at the Pentagon honoring the victims, he said,

"They will endure in the hearts of our nation, because through their sacrifice, they helped us make the America we are today, an America that has emerged even stronger."

If you’re feeling kind of down, maybe depression rearing it’s ugly head on a day like today, with the anniversary of 9-11.  They say to turn it around you try doing something nice for someone else.  There are lots of ways you could serve, for some ideas check out the National Day of Service

K-LOVE, listener, Evette, called to say she is delivering 50 chicken sandwiches to the veterans hospital in Wichita, Kansas.  That's her way of saying thank you.  What's yours?
