Racing to Save Lives

Help a child Survive to Five

K-LOVE is racing to save the lives of kids, and wondering if you’ll join us.

That’s why you’ve been seeing the K-LOVE logo on the racing scene. K-LOVE has teamed up with NASCAR driver Michael McDowell and NHRA driver Tony Pedregon to raise awareness for children in extreme poverty.

Because like in racing, in their lives every second counts.

There are millions of kids that don’t survive to five years of age because of malnutrition, malaria, and other preventable diseases. Stuff your kids get vaccinated for for a $30 copay.

We’ve partnerened together with World Vision’s Survive to Five campaign to help change that.

And as a way of saying “thanks” you can enter to win for a VIP weekend at the US Nationals in Indianapolis for the NHRA, The National Hot Rod Association! Learn more and enter online!

Well Done Gabby!

I don’t know about you, but I just feel like smiling that big Gabby smile all day today!

Big congrats to GABBY DOUGLAS!   The Olympic All Around Champion.

Her tiny 4’11” could hardly contain her giant smile, and the gold medal around her neck.  It seems like the rest of America is smiling with her today.

I noticed the night before she competed she sent out this tweet

"Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me". (Psalm 103:2)

The next day she made history become the first African American Gold Medalist in the All Around Competition.

After she won the Gold, she immediately gave her victory to God by saying, "I just give all the glory to God.  It's funny how all that works, I put the glory up and the blessings come down."

There’s only one thing I could do without in the news coverage about her today.  The web is all a buzz complaining about her unkempt pony tail.  Seriously?!

The girl flies through the air flipping and twirling, she can wear her hair any way she would like.

So in her honor, I’m sporting a Gabby Pony Tail!

Actually I wear this everyday, but today it’s for Gabby!

'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' –Matthew 25:21
