Black Out

You might think that slavery is over, but today, there are more slaves than at any other time in history. 27 million people are forced to work against their will.  That's why today we are raising awareness of this issue by having a Social Media Blackout.

K-LOVE is disappearing on social media in honor of the 27 million men, women and children who've disappeared. Trapped in slavery. In brothels. In factories. In quarries. Working as slaves. In 161 countries, including the U.S.

So, how in going silent on Facebook and Twitter tomorrow going to help? It will create awareness. As they say in this video, "Indifference is not an option."  If you'd like to join the movement, here's how:  Share the video below, change your profile and cover photo to the blackout image on my page and paste this status update:

Today, I am disappearing for the day from social media in honor of the 27 million who've disappeared in slavery. #enditmovement Together, we can make a difference.

An organization that I highly recommend is Exodus Cry. They go around the world to help free those who have been trafficked.
