God's Grace is Enough.
Even for you. Even with your past. Even for the person that hurt you.
Grace is one of those church words that church people use a lot, but don’t necessarily get what it means. We don’t necessarily apply it to our lives, or to others.
I was at a small group with my church last night, and I heard a new explanation of what God’s Grace means.
The speaker put it like this:
"Grace removes every label anyone has put on you, even the ones you put on yourself. Grace is a complete pardon of your past."
You might think that being a good enough person will get that Grace for you. Nope, it doesn't - good luck with that. Let me know if you do it, because I have not figured out how to do it yet. It doesn't work that way. It's impossible to be perfect.
There is only one person that was perfect, Jesus Christ. The only way to get that Grace, the complete pardon, is believing in Him.
