Saddleback Church celebrating its 50,000th person getting baptized. Pastor Rick Warren saying the milestone this month ‘brought tears to my eyes’. Think of the 50,000 stories behind those decisions to follow Jesus and be baptized. MIRACLES!!
So, why is baptism such a huge deal? The first reason, it’s commanded by Jesus. Also, Jesus did it. Getting baptized is a public way to show others you’re part of the family of God. A visual…washing off the ‘old you’ - the sin and coming out of that water a new person! More lives living for Jesus. Yay!
