Dr. Bobby Wood

In July of 2025, K-LOVE announced Bobby Wood as the new Chief of Staff for the ministry. This position will serve a key role on the Ministry Leadership Team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and helping to guide strategic initiatives, financial management and operations.

For more than 25 years, Wood has served in the business area of higher education and is dedicated to helping organizations focus on creating value in their services or products. Most recently, he served as the Chief Strategy Officer for Biblical Ministries Worldwide, where he recruited missionaries and worked with the mission’s persecuted church network of church planters by improving the sustainability of their growth through business and missions.

Wood earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership-Higher Education Administration from Clemson University. He also has a Master of Science in Biblical Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management, both from Bob Jones University.

The Bible was the center of Wood’s home growing up, as his father and mother instilled in him an early love for the Lord. As an adult, Christ has been the center of Wood’s home with his wife Robin and their three grown children, Cotter, Caeleigh and Caeden.
