A Good Compliment

“I can live for two months on a good compliment.” -Mark Twain

I love that because we can all relate to it.  Whether it’s a great review from your boss, a kind word from a family member or a sweet text from a friend, a few words can go a long way.

Here’s the thing, though. There are way too many people who get overlooked on a regular basis.

It’s easy to tell the people we love that they’re awesome, but what about the guy stacking avocados at the grocery store or the woman that checks your airline ticket? What about the random strangers that we run into every day?

When someone you've never seen before stops you on the street and says "Girl, your hair is ON FIRE," you're probably gonna think "day made." (That or run for the nearest fire hydrant). Why? Because strangers don't have a reason to lie.

Encouragement is a two-way sunshine-filled street. When we encourage someone else, we both get a huge dose of joy.

Let's be encouragement-spreaders this week!
