A Way Out Ministries has been combatting human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Memphis and the Mid-South for 33 years. We conduct outreach to venues known for human trafficking, provide case management services, and provide assistance to permanently leave the sex industry. In addition, A Way Out opened Memphis' first safe house specific for sex trafficking survivors in 2010 and is the only local long-term fully Christian residential program. Over 75 rural acres was generously donated to the ministry and we placed our Christ-centered long-term residential program on pause while we build a campus that will serve additional sex-trafficked victims and also include trauma-informed work opportunities and Christ-centered equine interventions. Our annual Take Aim at Human Trafficking Sporting Clays Tournament taking place on October 23, 2025 in Lakeland, Tennessee supports all of our efforts to reach, rescue, and restore victims wanting to exit the sex industry permanently. We invite you to sponsor or register a team today to help us continue to share the Gospel to those working in the sex industry and get us one step closer to building our campus so we can reopen our critical Christ-centered housing component.
