Jim Davis talks to Tara Sample, Founder and CEO of Thisability located in Petersburg. Thisability seeks to foster awareness for both children and adults with disabilities and their families by providing support and resources. Sample tells the story of her son Elijah, explaining that his down syndrome and medical condition were the inspiration for starting the non-profit. She says the number of families and individuals coming to Thisability for services is increasing and they are working to accommodate that. Finally, Sample tells the story of a woman who cared for her granddaughters with disabilities; a story of the organization being able to help in a time of need.
