Jeanice Lee talks to Captain Michael Suit, V.P. of Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company. Captain Suit says they serve the Southeast corner of Sussex County. They offer CPR classes, car seat inspections, and tours. The Knox Box program is a heavy metal box secured on door or building with house keys inside so emergency personal can enter a property and take care of an emergency. Captain Suit shares beach safety tips, outdoor residential burning info and encourages families to have a safety plan and to practice it. Biggest challenge is lack of volunteers. If you have questions or to apply to be a volunteer 302.539.7700 (BethanyBeachFire.com)
