Peter Kaye speaks with Serena Howarth of Dress for Success Lackawanna a local nonprofit serving a six-county area empowering women to achieve economic independence through a variety of free resources and programs. Howarth shares one of many success stories of helping a woman prepare to join the workforce by providing her with free professional attire, resume writing, interview tips and so much more! She outlines other supports offered including financial and digital literacy courses as well as networking opportunities within the business community. Howarth stresses the need for volunteers to help meet the need throughout their service area.
