Jim Davis speaks with Brenda Russell, Director at God’s Food Pantry in Somerset, KY. The organization feeds the food insecure population of Pulaski County. Russell talks about the history of the organization and the growing need in the county for food assistance. God’s Food Pantry also operates Our Place, a materials resource center for other non-profits. Finally, Russell talks about their new project OakPointe which when completed will be a multipurpose community facility focused on providing space for education and support service to those living in poverty.
