Kindra Ponzio talks with Pres and Ceo, Leah Miller, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sac. Miller talks about the impact of owning a home and breaking generations of poverty. She says the kids are more likely to improve their grades and 50% of them go on to continue their educations. Miller also shares her own story of triumph over living on the streets at times with her single mom. She tells us about volunteer opportunities and how they believe in building community, not just houses.
