Kindra Ponzio talks with Nicole Linder, CEO, Marjaree Mason Center. Linder talks about several different forms of domestic abuse and the effect it has on the families and the kids. She says most people don't think the kids can hear or are unaffected but that even an unborn child can experience trauma from the violence. This includes yelling and belittling. Linder also shares the things to look out for and the services they provide to victims as well as the abuser. She tells us about the early training they give to school age kids, outlining healthy behaviors. Linder mentions that the number of high school kids that are in unhealthy relationships is growing.
