Peter Kaye speaks with Mark Tierney of New Hampshire Capital Region Habitat for Humanity about the challenges of affordable housing for many in our area. Tierney explains how Habitat can help individuals realize their dream of homeownership for much less money than they might expect. Tierney gives real world examples of local residents achieving that goal and the impact it can have on not only them but the next generation as well. He also discusses Habitat’s home repair program which assists homeowners with crucial necessary repairs with marginal costs.
