Jeanice Lee talks with Bill Seals, the Associate Development Director of Olive Crest in the Coachella Valley. Seals says they offer programs for foster care and adoptions support, mental health counseling for children and families, wrap around support, transitional housing for youth who have aged out of the foster system, and crisis intervention for families in danger of breaking apart. The center of what they do is try to preserve the family by having host families which gives children (newborn – 18 yrs) a place to stay while their parent works through their crisis.
