Peter Kaye speaks with Melanie Shinbaum of St. Luke's Community House about various services they have been offering the community over the past 100 years. Shinbaum spotlights their food bank and the crucial role that it has played throughout the years as well as the pandemic. She also discusses various wrap around services like St. Luke's Family Empowerment Program which seeks to help families avoid homelessness with financial education, rent assistance, case management and more. Shinbaum also talks about their licensed child care program.
