Jack Church talks with Anne Tubaugh, Executive Director for Reading Connections of Guilford County. Tubaugh pointed out that one in five people in Guilford County struggles with basic literacy skills. That means more than 80,000 adults in our community live without access to information to ensure health, financial stability, and security for themselves and their family. Not only does low literacy limit their potential, it limits the potential of their children for years to come. Thru Reading Connection programs you are not only transforming the individual but helping change a family tree.
