Jeanice Lee talks with Suzi Cloutier, Executive Director of Zeb’s Wish Equine Sanctuary, Zeb’s Wish rehabilitates and offers sanctuary/forever homes to elder special needs horses, mules and donkeys. She describes the inspiration behind the non-profit and the story of her and Zeb, a blind/starving mule. Cloutier encourages people to consider the lifetime investment associated with having a horse and emphasizes emergency care plans for our animals to protect them from being neglected/abandoned. Cloutier gives advice on what to do if you come across an animal experiencing neglect/abuse. Retreats, educational classes and workshops are provided at the sanctuary. (ZebsWish.org)
