Jeanice Lee talks with Kate Klasen, Founder of Bishop’s Mission. As a first responder in the field for 18 yrs, Klasen saw many different areas of what first responders dealt with, at times alone. After years of trauma, Klasen found that her two dogs provided her comfort and support which inspired her to create Bishop’s Mission. Bishop is her dalmatian dog who can sense PTSD and if need for comfort. They provide third party peer support to first responders to help handle their stress and trauma. Klasen shares about Coffee Corner and their emergency vet fund. (BishopsMission.org)
