Jeanice Lee spoke with Kerry Witkin the President of the Encinitas Rotary Club. Kerry share the history of the local club and the history behind Rotary internationally. We learn what a Rotarian is and the rotary motto of "Service Above Self." Kerry talks about why this organization is important to the community, who they serve such as Seniors, local youth etc.
We learn what the "Home Team" is and different projects they have worked on in the community and partnerships they have within the community. Kerry talks about the benefits of being a Encinitas Rotary Club member and who can become a member. We learn about Rotary International and the association with the local club.
