Jeanice Lee talks to Luis De La Cruz, President/CEO of Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation. AFFCF is a statewide org dedicated to funding activities and items for children and youth that are experiencing the foster care system. By providing some normalcy, this helps children achieve a level of self-sufficiency and help ensure their experience does not define who they become. For youth 16+ they create a better future by providing education, housing, financial literacy, and more. De La Cruz says if we don’t support kids in the system, they may experience difficult outcomes and a challenging future. (Affcf.org)
