Ron Turner talks with Hilda Fernandez, CEO of Camillus House in Miami-Dade County. Fernandez discusses the homeless population in Miami-Dade County and how Camillus House has been offering various solutions to help find housing and cover the basic needs for the homeless. Fernandez introduces their Homeless Prevention Program that helps individuals stay in their homes when threatened with the possibility of an eviction. Fernandez talks about how Camillus House helps with most everything the homeless population may need, from the basic essentials of personal care to clothing, food and mail services for those in need of an address to receive important documents.
