Peter Kaye discusses homelessness in the capital region with Perry Jones of Capital City Rescue Mission. Jones speaks from his 41 years of experience serving our homeless and at-risk neighbors. He spotlights the rise in homeless women with children and how the Mission is addressing that need through their New Faith For Women program. Jones proudly shares that half his staff are proof that their recovery programs are successful as they have come through the Mission and are living purpose filled lives in our community. Jones outlines how COVID, inflation and immigration have increased the demand for the programs and services the Mission offers.
