There is a growing need for children in the foster care system to be represented and protected. A CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) does exactly that. The needs, desires and rights of each child is made known to the courts, parents and foster workers by the CASA, who has a 1-on-1 relationship with each child in the Foster system, so they don't become lost or suffer more neglect or abuse. Dan Beck spoke with Daniel Verado, Communications Specialist for CASA For Kids of Flathead Valley, about their work in community.
