Jeanice Lee talks with Alisha Saunders-Wilson the Child Development Services Efficiency Supervisor with ChildSavers. ChildSavers goal is to help meet the mental health needs of children in Richmond, VA. Over the last 30 years ChildSavers has created a comprehensive trauma informed model that includes preventative and intervention services. Saunders-Wilson shares about their model which is broken up into three segments: child development, mental health and trauma informed training for adults.
