Jim Davis speaks with Margaret Elliot, the Executive Director at Crisis Control Ministry in Winston-Salem. She shares about the need in the community that was the basis for starting Crisis Control over 50 years ago by a local pastor. Elliot covered the programs they provide including the food pantry, prescription fulfillment and emergency financial assistance. She also talked about community education they offer to help individuals better understand the issues specific to lower income citizens. Finally Elliot shares the story of a man she helped and how that story impacted her personally.
