Sarah Shaver spoke with Sherry McMillian, Client Advocate of First Way Pregnancy Support Center, caring for pregnant women in Allegany County, Maryland. McMillian described First Way's services including 3-D ultrasound, confidential pregnancy test and counseling, "earn while you learn" classes that help expectant moms receive baby equipment and clothing and a 24-hour help line. McMillian also provided information about mentorship for fathers, post-termination counseling and layettes given to every expectant mom. First Way moms are supported through their pregnancy and even years after.
