Kindra Ponzio talks with Carly Robbins, Exec Dir, Food For People. Robbins shares how a few concerned women in the community started giving out food years ago. It has grown to a very large distribution to the community. Robbins says they have pop up distribution centers as the need for food increases. She said they also deliver groceries to homebound folks and seniors. Robbins talks about how the need has increased in the recent years and the face of the needy is very different today including working families, seniors and aging out youth from the foster system.
