Jeanice Lee talks to Board Member Katrina Rodrigues of Friends of Pinal Pets. Rodrigues describes their foster to adopt process; she says that pets are staying three times the length of time in shelters. She encourages people to vaccinate their pets and gives warning about the huge rise in distemper. She offers tips on how to keep pets safe in the AZ heat, such as, never leave a pet alone in a vehicle, do not walk them on hot asphalt, or leave them outdoors in the AZ heat.
