Jack Church talks with Samantha Norment, Founder and CEO for Her Hope Foundation in Atlanta, Georgia. Norment shares her story of life after leaving the military and the difficulties she faced transitioning into civilian life. Norment said after getting back on track and moving to Atlanta she saw a great need for support among female Veterans who were struggling to find direction in civilian life. Norment says the fastest growing segment of the unhoused population is among female Veterans. She now works with female veterans to help face those challenges of transition to a stable, productive civilian life.
