Jeanice Lee talks with Archivist, Rochelle McCune with the Historical Society of Palm Desert. Rochelle shares the history of Palm Desert and what they preserve at the historical society. We learn something interesting about the Palm Desert area that people would be surprised to know including some of the founding fathers of the area. She shares about how they are continuing to collect ongoing history of the surrounding area(s) and about celebrities' and people such as business owners, cooks of the era etc. The Historical Society Museum has redone their exhibits during the pandemic such as their Palm Desert lifestyle and why people live in the area. There are many historical landmarks in the area such as the Wave House and the Firehouse.
