Jack Church spoke with Shenique Carmichael, founder and president of Leah's Hope and Dreams, which she launched from her own experience growing up in poverty in the Bahamas. Carmichael outlined the tools and services necessary to eradicate homelessness in the Charlotte area. She also described the transitional housing they provide and the goal to build and maintain a tiny house community serving those coming out of homelessness.
