Jack Church spoke with 4 H Youth Development Leader, Lisa Dodson who helps lead the 4 H programs in Paducah and McCracken County, Kentucky. Dodson said while there are many things for young people to get involved in, 4 H continues to grow with ever expanding programs. 4 H was once thought of as mostly agriculture and farm animal programs but has expanded over the years with dozens of new and changing programs including science, technology and culinary arts. Dodson said 4 H is for kids age 9 to 19, however, they have the Cloverbud program for kids age 5 to 8 to prepare them for full 4 H membership starting at age 9.
