Ron Turner speaks with Katherine Hoeppner, Park Ranger about the historical significance of the Lewis and Clark State Park in Monona County. She describes the unique features of the park including the Loess Hills found in the area with the only other similar geography exists in China. Hoeppner also describes efforts to maintain its diverse ecosystems including the endangered prickly pear cactus. She highlights the many activities, individuals, families and groups can do at the park as well.
