Sarah Shaver talks with Becky Sheets, C.E.O. of Life First in Manassas and Woodbridge. Life First serves Prince William County and Virginia’s metro Washington, D.C. area through their medical clinics for women and men experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Sheetz said their clinics, First Care Women’s Health, provide honest information and resources from medical professionals like medical pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, support, material items, education, termination recovery Bible studies, options counseling, tele-health, and a strong Gospel message. Sheetz also talks about the importance of men and the local church in their work and connections in the community to provide additional support long after the baby is born. Life First works with local churches and Ms. Sheetz related a story of a small church that provided Christmas gifts, rent money, and paid medical bills for 14 clients.
