Lexy Smith speaks with Sue Fegelein, the Executive Director for LiftUp of Routt County. LiftUp of Routt County has been helping those struggling financially in since 1996. Fegelein shares how LiftUp started in churches. LiftUp currently has locations in Oak Creek, Hayden, and Steamboat Springs. Fegelein explains how residents qualify for rental/mortgage assistance, utility assistance and their food banks. Fegelein details snack programs for young children. Fegelein includes where to apply for the Hope for the Future scholarship that they offer.
