Jeanice lee talks to the Co-Executive Director of Magical Creatures Sanctuary, Jill Vanderhoef. They are a nonprofit farm animal rescue and sanctuary located on The Big Island of Hawai’i. They have over 100 animals who were saved from slaughter, rescued from neglect, have special needs, or were orphaned or injured in the wild. Vanderhoef shares what people can expect when visiting, how to prepare for a visit and she encourages anyone to visit to see the connection between animals and humans.
