Peter Kaye speaks with Sean Holleran of Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island about the impact granting wishes to critically ill children has had over their 40 years of service. Holleran shares several heartwarming stories of Wish Kids experiencing joy despite their circumstances and how these wishes often positively affect their outlook, helping them push through their treatments. He states that since wishes are limited only to the child’s imagination, creativity is a key component that volunteers get to experience and share in. Holleran also discusses how previous Wish Kids are reaching out to help grant wishes to others.
